Expansion of Railyard – Western Ohio.
Amtrac Ohio LLC undertook the ambitious project to design and expand the track layout of an
existing railyard. The expansion involved the construction of a total of 5,600 feet of new track along
with the installation of 6 strategically placed turnouts. A notable feature of this project was the
addition of a 400-foot plant access road crossing, facilitating improved logistics and operational
efficiency within the railyard.
Project Status:
We are pleased to report that the project has been successfully completed, enhancing the capacity
and functionality of the railyard. The new track layout and infrastructure improvements are set to
significantly contribute to the operational capabilities of our client, enabling smoother and more
efficient rail traffic management.
